How member areas work
Learn when Vipter grants and removes the buyer's access in MemberKit, Cademí or Membox, how rules per offer work and where to check each delivery.
If you sell a course or a community hosted in a member area, Vipter can handle access on its own: an approved sale grants it, a refund removes it. You connect the platform once, say which offers grant access to what and follow each delivery in the dashboard itself. Everything lives under GeneralIntegrationsMember areas.
What makes access change
| What happens in Vipter | What Vipter does in the member area |
|---|---|
| Sale approved (including a subscription's first charge) | Grants access |
| Subscription reactivated or resumed | Grants access again |
| Sale fully refunded | Removes access |
| Chargeback | Removes access |
| Subscription cancelled | Removes access |
| Subscription expired | Removes access |
Some cases change nothing:
- Paid subscription renewal: access stays as it is.
- Refund or chargeback of a renewal: access is only removed when the subscription itself is cancelled or expires.
- Partial refund: access stays.
The buyer is identified by the purchase's e-mail. Name, phone and CPF or CNPJ (Brazilian individual or company taxpayer ID) go along when they exist in the customer's record.
Access rules per offer
After you save the connection, the Access rules card shows up on the platform's page. Each rule links an Offer to what it grants in the member area:
- MemberKit: the Classroom IDs.
- Cademí: the Product id in Cademí, which is the ID of the Customizado (Custom) delivery.
- Membox: the Product name in Membox.
A few things you need to know about rules:
- Without a rule, nothing is sent. That is the notice No rules yet — nothing is sent until an offer is linked.
- The rule also stores the product of the chosen offer. A sale of another offer of the same product also grants access.
- In a sale with an order bump, every product in the purchase counts. If the bump has a rule, the buyer gets both accesses.
- An offer can have several rules, for example two classrooms or two products in Cademí.
- Rules cannot be edited. To change the destination, remove the rule and create another one.
Recent deliveries
The Recent deliveries card, at the bottom of each platform's page, shows the 20 most recent deliveries: Access granted or Access revoked, the buyer's e-mail, the result and the date. When the platform rejects one, its response shows in red right below.

A failed delivery is not repeated
Vipter makes one attempt per event. If the delivery failed, fix the cause (wrong credential, ID or name) and grant this buyer's access directly in the member area. The next sales already use the fix.
Turn on, turn off and remove
- The Active — send access to this platform switch pauses deliveries without deleting anything. Sales made while the switch is off are not sent later.
- Remove integration deletes the connection and all its rules. The delivery history goes with it.
- You can have more than one platform connected at the same time. Each one only receives the sales of offers that have a rule in it.
Compare the platforms
| MemberKit | Cademí | Membox | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you enter in the connection | API key | Domain, API key and Cademí token | Webhook URL and integration credential |
| What each rule points to | Classroom IDs | Product ID of the Customizado (Custom) delivery | Product name, exactly as in Membox |
| Test connection button | Yes | No | No |
| How access is removed | The student becomes inactive | The purchase is sent as cancelled | The student is removed from the product |
| Subscription data sent | No | Subscription ID and whether it is active | No |
Without the test button, the way to check the connection is a test purchase. See Test your store.
