Join the community you bought
For people who bought access to a Telegram group or a Discord server from a store that uses Vipter. Where your link is, how to join and what to do when something does not work.
When your purchase includes a community, the store gives you a personal link to join the Telegram group or channel, or the Discord server. The community belongs to the store: Vipter checks that your purchase is still valid and takes you there.
Where your link is
- On the confirmation page: right after payment, the "Join your community" card shows the "Join the community" button. It only shows in the browser where you paid. If the card says your access is still being prepared, refresh the page in a few minutes.
- In the e-mail: if the store sends e-mails, you get the community access e-mail, with the "Join the community" button. Keep that e-mail.
- In the customer area: the "Communities" section lists your accesses, with the link of each one. See Sign in to the customer portal.
The link opens the "Your community" page, with step-by-step instructions.
The link is personal
Access is tied to the first Telegram or Discord account that uses the link. Sign in with the account you will use in the community and don't forward the link: another account cannot join with it.
Join on Telegram
- On the link page, tap "Open in Telegram". Telegram opens the chat with the store's bot.
- Tap "Start". The bot replies with an invite button for each group or channel in your purchase.
- Tap the invite and request to join. The bot approves you right away.
Invites are valid for 24 hours. If they expire, open your link again and tap "Start": the bot sends new invites.
Join on Discord
- On the link page, tap "Join with Discord".
- Sign in to your Discord account, if asked, and authorize access.
- You join the server with the role from your purchase and return to the link page, which shows "Done!".
If you were already in the server, you get the role. If you left the server, open the link again and tap the button to join once more.
When something does not work
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Invalid link" | Copy the link again, complete, from the e-mail or the customer area. |
| "Access ended" | The purchase was refunded, disputed or the subscription ended. Contact the seller if you think it is a mistake. |
| "The store is still setting up the community." | Try again in a few minutes. |
| The bot says the access is already linked to another Telegram account | Use the account you joined with the first time or contact the seller. |
| The bot declines the join request | Open your link and tap "Start" before requesting to join, with the same account. |
| "This access is already linked to another Discord account." | Sign in with that account or contact the seller. |
| "Your Discord account has reached its server limit." | Leave a server and try again. |
| "You cancelled the authorization on Discord." or "The authorization took too long." | Tap the button again and authorize. |
When access ends
If the purchase is refunded or disputed on the card, or if the subscription is cancelled or ends, the store removes your access: you leave the Telegram group, or lose the role on Discord. If you buy again, you get a new link.
